Single Tier Cakes

If you want to make a statement, a tall single cake really does the trick! Small, medium and large single tier cakes are a striking four tall layers of sponge, sometimes called a “double barrel” cake.

Mini -The 4″ mini cake is the perfect size for a family celebration that doesn’t include a big party or dozens of guests. It’s just right for a small family to share over a special birthday tea and have enough for seconds later with a cuppa, or they would make a beautiful gift to deliver to a friend (gift packaging options available). The Mini cakes are still 4 layers of sponge, so have plenty of impact!

Small, Medium and Large Cakes- Perfect for a party, 6″ , 7″ and 8″ cakes are four layers of sponge, stacked high with scrumptious layers of buttercream, jam or ganache in between. Serving size varies depending on how you slice it, but as the cakes are tall full height slices can then be sliced in half to give more manageable portions.

Tiered Cakes

Some celebrations call for something grander, and a tiered cake can provide that extra special something. Each tier will be made of three layers of sponge, and tiers can be flavoured the same or each tier can have a different flavour. Sometimes it’s nice to have a contrast with something decadently sweet like chocolate with salted caramel, contrasted with something zingy like raspberry and lemon.
